EP71 - Repairing in Our Relationships

Dr. Kimberly Murray & Dr. Gregory Seibert Season 1 Episode 71

We all engage in many relationships, whether it is with friends, family, coworkers or our children. While each relationship is unique, each has the potential for conflict or discord because, let’s face it, we are all fallible and all make mistakes. So, the question is not about if ruptures will happen, but rather once they do happen, how do we repair?

Join us as we give step by step guidance, including what to say, to create repair after a rupture in any relationship, even with our kids! Repairing is an essential skill in any healthy relationship, preventing resentment, cutoffs, and future pain. Join us as we walk you through the repair process, including what to do and what not to do, appropriate timing, accountability, and exactly what to say! We all can use these skills in every relationship we have!
